Patagonia Bariloche

Emilio Frey, first director of Nahuel Huapi National Park, Mayor of Bariloche and Co-founder of CAB, he built his home in 1912 with Rosita Schumacher, on the shores of Nahuel Huapi. A silent explorer and creator of much of our cartography, Frey became a pioneer and A historical landmark of Patagonia, and guardian of Bariloche's most precious natural treasures.

The restoration of his house is a living tribute to his legacy of commitment and love for the Land. This project seeks to give back to the community a space that honors cultural heritage and environmental of the region, inviting her to connect with history and be inspired by the same love for the nature that guided Frey.

Casa Frey was then created as an open space dedicated to those who find their spirit in nature, whether climbing mountains, hiking trails, or raising their voice in defense of our planet.

Opening the doors of this place is to renew a deep commitment to the Earth, a Today's call is to care for and value our natural and cultural environment, and to build a future together in harmony with the legacy of those who defended these landscapes.
