We donate 1% of our profits to support environmental organizations in our country. We focus our support especially on groups with strong ties to local communities and ecosystems.
ARGENTINE BIRDS
Aves Argentinas is a national organization that protects wild birds and nature in Argentina. It works on projects, research, and habitat conservation efforts; it protects and promotes the care of these key areas for biodiversity, advocating for public policies, nature tourism, and creating urban reserves and National Parks in Patagonia, the Atlantic Forest, and the Pampas.
ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY CIRCLE
It promotes the strengthening of the environmental policy agenda for the protection of ecosystems, sustainable development, and the fight against climate change. They strive for a society in which the political and business sectors are aware of and committed to the environment, and educate and raise awareness among citizens.
PROJECTS UNDER FOUNDATION
The founders and coordinators of this initiative are four biologists who study and conserve Argentina's marine ecosystems. They offer free outreach and educational programs, as well as research and conservation projects focused on marine biodiversity.
GERMINAR NORTH ZONE CIVIL ASSOCIATION
Germinar NGO is a Civil Society Organization founded in 2014, with the primary objective of raising awareness about the importance of environmental stewardship and biodiversity preservation. Its mission is to reconnect humanity with the earth through workshops, events, activities, talks, and gatherings, thereby fostering respect, care, and appreciation for the environment.
MANOMET
Applying scientific knowledge and engaging the public to achieve a sustainable planet. Manomet seeks and identifies partners who are well-positioned to take action related to the sustainability of four key systems: biodiversity, forests, food, and the economy.
IGUAZÚ AGROECOLOGICAL FOUNDATION
The Iguazu Agroecological Foundation (FAI) is a non-profit organization that works to promote environmental, social and economic harmony in the Iguazu region, Misiones province, Argentina.
CETHUS
The donations provided by Patagonia support Cethus in its search for solutions to the various problems facing cetaceans and their habitat. Founded in 1992, Cethus carries out research, education, outreach, and management activities, developing educational programs that facilitate learning and promote interest in marine conservation and communication among people who share this interest.
GREEN HANDS
Manos Verdes seeks to implement innovative solutions to existing environmental problems through joint developments between Europe and Latin America. It also works with students of all ages, developing educational programs and teaching materials, and offering volunteer opportunities to university students in Latin America.
ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES FOUNDATION
FARN promotes citizen participation in local and contemporary environmental issues, educating people on how to comply with and enforce existing protection regulations. It also denounces irregularities and advocates for vital legislation such as the "Law for the Protection of Glaciers and Periglacial Environments" and the government's commitment to cleaning up the Riachuelo River. FARN is also part of the "Santa Cruz River Without Dams" coalition.
SOUTHERN ENVIRONMENT
Ambiente Sur has developed the Urban Nature Reserves Network project in the Patagonia region. These reserves aim to protect lagoons as natural urban filtration centers, improving the quality of life for residents and fostering a healthy environment in the community. Ambiente Sur is also working on projects to protect shorebirds, the Hooded Grebe (an endemic bird of Patagonia), and the COM.UNI.DAD project, which focuses on educating and generating citizen participation in natural conservation efforts.
TREES ALLIANCE
The Trees Alliance defines itself as “nature-driven social change,” meaning they develop citizen participation projects to protect the environment while simultaneously achieving social inclusion. To date, they have planted 4,600 trees and are a network that brings together individuals, organizations working on social inclusion, educational institutions, nature reserves, and businesses with the common goal of creating and improving public green spaces.
FRIENDS OF PATAGONIA ASSOCIATION
The AAP is a non-profit organization founded in 1999 in the city of San Martín de los Andes. It works to preserve the ecological balance and natural landscape of Patagonia. They develop environmental education programs, support initiatives aimed at reducing the negative ecological impact of activities in Patagonia and the rest of the country, and strive to integrate environmental stewardship into political agendas and societal practices.
WHALE CONSERVATION INSTITUTE
The ICB aims to conserve whales and their environment through research and education. In conjunction with the Ocean Alliance, it conducts the Southern Right Whale Research Program (PIBFA) with the scientific objective of monitoring the status of the southern right whale population in the Península Valdés Protected Natural Area (Chubut, Argentina).
CORDOBA ENVIRONMENTAL FORUM - CIVIL ASSOCIATION
Established in 2006, this organization aims to influence environmental public policy through technical proposals and collaborative work with institutions and media outlets. They prepare reports and technical recommendations, which they then present to authorities and the media. They also participate in public hearings and request information from government officials.
FOREST BANK
A foundation that channels contributions from small, medium, and large donors toward a common goal: saving endangered native forests. Its system uses satellite imagery to create a direct link between the donor and the specific "portion" of forest that each donor saves.
FOUNDATION FOR BIOSPHERIC ACTIVITIES
Three areas synergistically unite its activities: Ecological Restoration, Intercultural Studies, and the Arts. The foundation works in a network with places, projects, and people that synergistically combine these three areas of human practice with the biosphere: from mountaintop reforestation to the dissemination of urban agriculture, from the teaching of ancestral languages and worldviews to cutting-edge science.
AZARA FOUNDATION
The field of action in the natural, environmental and anthropological sciences is conceived in an integral way and with a very modern perspective: it includes the exploration, research, management and conservation of an important part of the country's natural and cultural heritage, and the transfer and application of the knowledge achieved for the benefit of society.
NATIVE FORESTS FOR BIODIVERSITY
Its main objectives are: to promote the regeneration of native Argentine forests, to encourage the recovery of biodiversity, and to support Argentine scientific research.
FUNDEPS
It works to influence public policies at the local, national and international levels to ensure respect for human rights, carrying out research, training, advocacy, strategic litigation and general cooperation activities, to contribute to sustainable development by protecting the most vulnerable groups.
JUCO PROJECT
A study project on the natural history, distribution and current conservation of the Andean bear (Tremarctos ornatus, Carnivora: Ursidae) in the Tucumano - Oranense Forest of Northwest Argentina.
NATURA INTERNATIONAL
It is an organization primarily dedicated to the creation of protected areas in Argentina and to collaboration on conservation projects for some key species, combining scientific work with work with local communities, other organizations and government entities.
GLOBAL PENGUIN SOCIETY
Global Penguin Society is a coalition dedicated to the survival and protection of all penguin species worldwide, promoting integrated ocean conservation through science, management, and education.
CEBio Foundation
The foundation works to conserve the biodiversity of Northwest Argentina through biodiversity conservation and management actions, considering all levels of biodiversity and the ecological processes that connect them. It also supports the development of both theoretical and applied scientific research related to the knowledge, conservation, and sustainable use of biodiversity.
