The most distinctive feature of the species is its purplish-green-gray foliage, which allows it to stand out in a garden surrounded by greenery. The leaves are composed of 5 to 7 leaflets.
Flowering: Its flowers are small, pink, and single. It produces small, round, red rose hips.
